Frenz I cudnt post regular updates on this blog as I'd been busy in creating the http://www.talwara.com/ for the loveliest place on the Earth. I have been updating this site and now i think it needs a fresh look and make up. So, this site is under re-redesigning phase. And yes, this blog will never die and i ll try to keep it up to date.
The very first post on this blog contained some matter on the vacated appox 800 residential apartments/quarters. It was hopefuly expected that some good soul may be there, and Talwara will keep rocking with its majestic nature and color. But as time is running by, it is quite sad to see those haunting buildings, whose hue and cry is left unheard by one and all.
There are a few over-heard intersting things in this regard. The most important one is that the Chairman BBMB had written to the Punjab Govt. way back one and a half year back that the Govt should take over these well build quarters as they are of no use any more for the deptt. and the Board is unable to maintain them. The Punjab Govt forwarded this letter to its legal cell for further action. But after almost six months the BBMB again sent a reminder to Punjab Govt for the proceedings ... But the people are still in a fix whether something will come out of this pandoras box or these hundreds of well build quarters will die their own death...
A strange peace and silence is prevailing all over, God knows when the ice will melt.

Exhibition

An AV Aids Exhibition was organised SSA today in the premisis os Govt. Sr. Sec. School Talwara 1, where teachers from various schools exhibited the class room AV material prepared by them.

Under the supervision of the school head Mr. Ramesh Kumar the subject experts carefully examined the materials. Prominent Hindi writer Mr. Dharampal Sahil (Science), Mr. Vinod Kumar (Social Studies), Mr. Chaman Lal (Hindi), Mr. Kewal Krishan Sharma (Maths) were others were in the expert panel. Mr. Kulwant Singh, Ram Asra, Sadhu Singh, Thakur Parmod Singh, Rashpal Rana, Vijay Kumar, Samarjeet Singh, Yashpal, Rajinder Prasad, DP Singh, Thakur Nardev Singh and almost all the teachers from the surrounding schools attended the exhibition.

Red Ribbon Clubs Activity

On 18 and 19 Feb Govt. Model High School Talwara, Govt. Girls Sec. School Talwara, Govt. Sec. School Talwara 1 and other schools organised various activities under AIDS awareness program i. e. rally, chart making, discussions, lectures etc.

Traffic Terrific

Traffic is big issue in India and well we aint goin to discuss it here at all... Just wanna let ya know that an NGO today organized a special drive (for one day) to stick light reflectors on passing vahicles. DSP Naresh Dogra inagurated the drive and he put a reflector on an auto. Why dont people keep such drives alwayz on.. it seems too ceremonious now..
